KEMP Presents Innozinc and Innozinc-h at HVAC KOREA 2025
KEMP participated in HVAC KOREA 2025 at COEX in Seoul.
HVAC KOREA showcases technologies and products across heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and fire-protection systems. The 2025 event marked its tenth anniversary and included specialist seminars and conferences.
Dates: April 9–11, 2025. Venue: Hall A, COEX, Seoul. Exhibits included HVAC systems, pumps and tanks, pipes and valves, plumbing, fire-protection equipment, specialist systems and energy-related equipment.
KEMP presented Innozinc ceramic zinc composite plating and Innozinc-h, its high-corrosion-resistance grade. These technologies expand surface-treatment options for industrial steel components by addressing corrosion resistance, dimensional precision and post-fabrication quality.
Innozinc technology highlights
The exhibition highlighted corrosion resistance, suppression of white rust during storage and transport, thin coatings for threaded assemblies, and opportunities to reduce process energy use and emissions. KEMP also introduced applications in areas such as offshore wind structures. Performance after tooling and actual environmental benefits depend on the part, process and operating conditions.
Current product guidance is SST 720–1,000 hr for Innozinc and SST 1,500–2,000 hr for Innozinc-h. Salt spray results must be read with specimen conditions and acceptance criteria; they do not directly establish service life in marine or other operating environments.
KEMP presented salt spray and cyclic corrosion test information, including JIS H 8502-related evaluations, together with welding assessments. SST and cyclic corrosion results are different measures. Welding without prior coating removal must be evaluated against the applicable report, welding procedure, ventilation requirements and repair scope; it is not an unconditional approval for every component.
