Hex nuts

THIN COATING · BASIC UPGRADE

Thin coatings.
A practical performance upgrade.

ELPANG Upgrade 100 enhances corrosion resistance in thin zinc-electroplated coatings while retaining the dimensional advantages of a 1–2 µm deposit.

Coating thickness
1–2µm
White-rust SST
15hr
Red-rust SST
96hr

These values refer to the 1–2 µm condition in the supplied data. See the table below for the corresponding white- and red-rust results.

PERFORMANCE BY THICKNESS

White- and red-rust performance
by plating thickness.

Compare white- and red-rust SST results
at each plating thickness to select
the specification for your components.

PRODUCT & PROCESS

Chemical System

Review pretreatment, plating and post-treatment conditions on the existing line against the customer's specification.

01

UP100-A · UP100-AW

Part A — dilute 1 part concentrate in 100 parts water.

02

UP100-B · UP100-BW

Part B — dilute 1 part concentrate in 15 parts water.

Technical documentation is available for detailed specifications and application processes.

The system and dilution ratios above are from existing product documentation. Use the latest TDS and the findings of a line-specific review to determine actual dosage, concentration and process conditions.

APPLICATION REVIEW

Start with the requirements
of your thin-coated parts.

A calculator is not currently available for Grade 100. Share the substrate, coating thickness and target performance so we can review application conditions and technical documentation with you.
