BALANCED PERFORMANCE
ELPANG Upgrade 300 improves corrosion resistance on existing acid and alkaline zinc electroplating lines. Its post-treatment system balances zinc-deposit thickness with white- and red-rust performance across 3–10 µm specifications.
Range endpoints represent different thickness conditions. See the table below for the corresponding white- and red-rust values at each thickness.

| Grade | Existing line | Thickness (µm) | White-rust SST (hr) | Red-rust SST (hr) | Applications |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Upgrade 300 | Zinc electroplating + sealer | 3–5 | 60 | 300 | ①② |
| Upgrade 300 | Zinc electroplating + sealer | 5–6 | 72 | 400 | ①② |

PRODUCT & PROCESS
Review the post-treatment system around UP300-A and UP300-B. For alkaline lines, also assess whether UP300AKL is required.
A structure-reinforcing, water-based inorganic formulation. Added to the third chromate rinse at 1 part concentrate to 100 parts water.
A reactive, water-based inorganic formulation that replaces an existing sealer or is introduced as a new treatment. The catalog lists 1 part concentrate to 10 parts water for rack plating. Barrel conditions differ by acid or alkaline line and initial make-up or replenishment. Refer to the latest TDS for the applicable dilution ratio.
Process overview: zinc plating → activation and chromate treatment → UP300-A in the third rinse → UP300-B sealer. For alkaline lines, review the addition of UP300AKL to the plating bath. Operating specifications depend on the plating bath, rack or barrel process, and initial make-up or replenishment stage.
Use the latest TDS and agreed line operating specification for dosage, bath concentration and dilution ratios. Calculator defaults are inputs for cost estimation.
